“Just Country”
The Arts for Charity of Davidson County held a benefit for Lexington’s Habitat for Humanity on Friday evening, October 14th. The theme of the benefit was “Just Country,” and took place at the beautiful and rustic L’Abrie in Linwood. Many attended the event in their best country attire, and was treated to a “good ole” country dinner of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, baked apples and much more! The Arts for Charity board members kept the audience entertained throughout the evening with knee-slapping skits that were reminiscent of Hee Haw. After dinner, those in attendance had the opportunity to bid on items in the live auction, as well as those in the silent auction that ended near the close of the evening. The night ended with music by Second Wind, and those in attendance took to the dance floor. It was a wonderful evening for all who attended!
Lexington’s Habitat for Humanity would like to thank Arts for Charity of Davidson County for their hard-work and dedication to making this event a great success! Their creativity and attention to detail was what made the benefit such a wonderful evening for all who attended. We are very grateful for their contribution not only to our organization, but to the entire community of Davidson County!
