The “Purple Portal” is a fun & funky vintage door with a bit of pizzazz! The old door has vibrant shades of purple to give it new life! The “Purple Portal” has been re­purposed into a hall tree ­ great for an entrance, mud room or laundry room, having a bench, mirror, shelf and storage all in one! With the use of color, paint, fabric, buttons & a few extras, it takes on a life all its own! Two designers, Lee Manring & Wanda Cox love to create and repurpose things ­­ just check out their store, the Purple Pig Emporium, located at 221 S. Main Street. The “Purple Portal” reflects their store vibe, being bright and colorful, as well as celebrating artists that love to re­purpose! Always trying to think outside of the box and use things in a new and fun way led the two of them to the “Purple Portal.”
