We are excited to announce our newest partner family, Lynn and Boyd Hert . Lynn and Boyd met while she was his caregiver in a medical rehabilitation center. The Herts hope to be in their new home before Christmas!
Habitat for Humanity would like to congratulate Arsherres M. Jenkins on her many accomplishments. Arsherres is the daughter of homeowner Bernadette Hanna. The Hanna family moved into their Habitat home when Arsherres was 10-years-old. She is a graduate of LSH, class of 2009, and is a recent graduate of Catawba with a Master’s Degree in Business and Communications, and a Minor in Music.
Asherress currently works for Woodforest Bank in Salisbury as the Assistant Manager. At the age of 16 she tried out for “America’s Got Talent” and later had a call back for “The Voice.” She has performed with Dennis Reed & Co., for Oprah Winfrey, and sang for Mya Angelou at the Biltmore House. Her goals are to help people get further than she has, teach people to save and to appreciate each other.
