Bio: Mary Caroline Sharpe is a junior at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she is majoring in English with minors in Journalism and Sociology. A graduate of Lexington Sr. High, she has been involved in many community events and organizations such as the Lexington City Government Youth Council and as an organizer of the Words, Women, Wisdom event held at the Civic Center in 2014. Mary Caroline has worked with Habitat for Humanity on several occasions, through church groups and as a volunteer at the ReStore. She is thrilled to be a participant in this fundraiser for this agency that gives back so much to the Lexington community.
Rachel Hamrick is currently a sophomore at North Carolina State University where she is studying mathematics. Rachel is a member of the Alpha Kappa chapter of Chi Omega at NCSU and is very involved on campus. Throughout High School and college she has worked with several organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Make-a-Wish, and Hospice. Along with spending time with friends and family, Rachel enjoys playing volleyball, running, crafting, dancing, and going to sporting events.
