A Girl’s Inner Mermaid

Jan Fritts is a full time rental manager at Evans Properties and a part-time starving artist. Though she has an Associate Degree in Commercial Art and Graphics Design, she attributes her love for art to her mother raising her with a paintbrush in hand. Not painting a self-portrait since college,  she decided to do a self-portrait with a twist for her design. After 96 hours of channeling her “inner mermaid,” “A Girl’s Inner Mermaid” was complete.

We are looking for local artists, aspiring artists and groups to help us turn donated doors into art works!

The Doors to Homes and Hope will be on display in the Uptown Lexington area where everyone can enjoy them!  20 of the doors will be selected by our panel of judges and from the results of on-line voting to be auctioned off during our 3rd Annual Gala on October 3rd, 2015.
