On Sunday, June 29th, Habitat for Humanity of the Lexington NC Area held their 54th home dedication. The dedication was for the Torres Rivera Madera family. Pastor Patrick Horton, a Habitat homeowner, began the dedication with a welcome and invocation. Remarks were given by Marjorie Parker, the Executive Director of the Lexington Habitat. The family was presented with a Bible and the keys to their home.
Two awards were given at the dedication. The Governor’s Award for Volunteer of the year was given to both Bob Sink, and Catherine Lambeth.
We would like to say a special thank you to all that helped make this house a home: Catherine Lambeth, EE Wilson Floor Covering, Dwayne Buie, Lexington ReStore, Grace Episcopal Church Youth Group, Denny Owens, and Bob Sink.
